Fall has hit my makeup kit and I could not be more in love with this season’s trends. My oft-understated look has gained a bit of oomph thanks to trends like beautiful bordeaux lips and shades of green for the eyelids (I’m crazy for a glittery moss green). To balance out all of the color, I’m keeping cheeks soft and sweet with just a wash of light pink and finishing things off with a constant rotation of metallic jewel tones on my nails.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Voluptuous Violet ($16) – A juicy grape with lots of moisture and just the right amount of shine.

Sephora Instant Moisturizer ($20) – Intense, but oil free and it leaves my skin so touchably soft.

bareMinerals READY Foundation SPF20 ($29) and Precision Face Brush ($28) – Beautiful coverage and not at all drying. Touch the brush to the pressed powder to pick up just enough – the soft, densely packed bristles help it to go on like a dream!

Redken Sheer Straight Gel ($18) – Lightweight, but gets my hair pin straight. Excellent for whipping things into shape for the season’s sleek pony.

MAC Eye Shadow in All That Glitters ($18) – A great base for winged eyeliner or a cat eye.
